we’ve had a rape broadcasted on national television (and not only that, but on the single biggest television network of the country), and the producer of the show says the act was consensual, and half the population are making fun of the girl, because, as our old and disgusting saying goes, “a drunk’s asshole has no owner”.

we are on the 12th edition of Big Brother, a worldwide known reality show, and apparently there was a party there last night. girl drinks too much, goes to the bedroom and lays down, with the guy. they kiss. girl blacks out. guy humps her. the cameras turn the other way, the footage is deleted from the website. she wakes up, doesn’t remember anything. guy tells her they kissed. producer, after seeing the backlash the images caused online (thank god for whoever ripped the video before it got taken down), talks to girl. she says they only kissed. producer says case closed. the network’s webiste publishes a story on how “it got hot between person X and person Y last night”, as if it was something sexy, like they were making out, giggling and having fun.

THE GIRL DOESN’T KNOW SHE WAS RAPED. she knows what she was told by the members of the house and the producers. she will only see the footage after she leaves the house, if she’s allowed to see it at all.
